Karey is a native of Stark County and daughter of the co-founder of Shearer’s Foods. She graduated from Central Catholic High School, attended Bowling Green State University where she studied Business and earned her Cosmetology degree from the National Beauty College in North Canton. Outside of her career, Karey is a board member on the fundraising committee of the Early Childhood Resource Center in Canton, a member of ystark!, a young professionals networking and community involvement organization in Stark County, and enjoys cooking, organizing and traveling with her family. She resides in Jackson Township with her husband of 6 years, Steven, and their 3 year old daughter, Ruby.
